Why isn’t my code working?
A code can be refused for a few general reasons. They apply to most games; each game’s own rules decide in the end.
It has ended
Most codes work only for a limited time, and some stop once enough players have used them. A code can end before the date a list shows.
A letter is different
Many games treat capital and small letters as different, and some codes use digits that look like letters, such as 0 and O or 1 and I. Type the code exactly as it is shown.
A space or sign was added or lost
Copying can add a space before or after the code, or leave out a sign that belongs to it. Paste it, then check both ends; keep any spaces, dashes or other signs inside the code.
It is for another region or server
Some codes work only in one region, on one server or in one version of a game.
The account is not ready yet
Some games open code entry only after the tutorial or a certain level, or ask you to join a group first.
It was already used or is tied to one account
Most codes work once per account. Some are made for a single player and cannot be used by anyone else.
What you can do
On the game’s code page, use “Didn’t work” so other players know, and check the steps under “How to redeem”. A newer code may be in the active list.
